If your vehicle is three years old or more, you are required by law to have an MOT. Our DVSA accredited testers will conduct a comprehensive series of checks to your vehicle to ensure that it’s in a roadworthy condition. This is an annual check which includes the interior of the vehicle, exterior, under the bonnet and under the vehicle itself.
If the vehicle complies with the standards set out by the DVSA a VT20 ‘pass’ certificate will be issued otherwise a VT30 ‘failure’ document will be issued indicating the areas needing attention. In this instance we are more than happy to issue you a no-obligation estimate to complete the work and provide you with a free courtesy car to keep you on the move.
The tester will also indicate any areas of the vehicle that will likely need attention in the near future so you can keep an eye on them.

MOT and services are often confused for being similar checks, however this is incorrect. An MOT doesn’t check the general mechanical condition of the vehicle, only that it’s roadworthy at the time of the test. An annual service is highly recommended not only by us but your vehicles manufacturer to ensure you get the best reliability and performance from your vehicle, particularly the engine.
